Come See My Dead Person is playing in Austin this Saturday at a place called Frank. I’m really excited about it and I’ll tell you why, CSMDP in conjunction with Hazy Daze Galveston has chartered a bus to take 50 people with them. Are you joking? NO. I’m. Not. Doesn’t that sound like the most fun you might ever have? To be on a bus with that whole gang of fun people all the way to Austin and back?!?!?! If you were on the Halloween Murder Bus then you already know how much fun this is going to be, it will be similar to that but times ten and with a bathroom on board.

Word on the street is PrettyRiot will be filming for another studio diary while we’re out…

PrettyRiot is also prepping the gift bags that each road tripper will get as they board the bus. It will include a cd sample of the upcoming album!!!!! THAT’S RIGHT! You even get your own sample of the new cd that’s coming out, CSMDP’s first full length album! EXCLUSIVELY. Because CSMDP fans are so bad ass!

You know what else? Of course there will be a keg and jello shots and most likely those vodka infuse Capri Suns, that’s a given. But we’ve even thought ahead, we’ve taken into consideration your sweet little headaching hangover. So…your giftbag will also include a can of Mercy- a hangover remedy drink :) You’re welcome.

You’ll get all that and seriously, this is not a joke- all that AND- a bag of chips. HA! I had to it was just too easy! Seriously though, a literal bag of chips will also be included. So you can go around telling people that now and you wouldn’t be figuratively speaking, I’m just sayin’.

Around these parts we are getting ready for The Summer Fest Interview Series that will begin next week! I’m so excited to be working on this again as I love getting to know some of the performers that will be at the festival! We have a pretty hefty line up to cover so check back here in all the days leading up to the festival as we get to know more about these bands than just their music. Heck, you might even find something new you fancy :)

And of course! There will be tips and tricks (well not ‘tricks’ like illegal things that might get you arrested, we live in Houston but geeze we have standards! Not that I would know how to give you tips on tricking…wow this has gone way too far.) Just go ahead and scratch the “tricks” part, I don’t want anyone getting confused here. I will be giving you tips on how to achieve the best possible festival experience. All things listed will be legal (just in case that whole ‘tricking’ thing threw you off).
